DIRECTOR OF JOAN B. KROC SCHOOL OF PEACE STUDIES UNIVERSITY OF SAN DIEGO USA VISIT TO RAKSHA NEPAL

Raksha Nepal has been continuously getting support from different national and international personalities since its establishment. This support has energized the organization in combating with all forms of sexual violence against women, girls and children.

Raksha Nepal is very fortunate to receive Dr. Dee Aker, Director of Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies University of San Diego USA and Daniel Ort Program officer for Strategic Peace building of the same Institute on the day of 18 January 2016. The Raksha family is highly indebted to Dr. Dee, Mr. Daniel and Santosh Saha, Chairperson of Santosh Saha Foundation for their precious time in spite of their busiest schedule. During the visit, the sexual violence affected women, girls and their children had welcomed the guests.

Dr. Dee has been significantly contributing from the last ten years in rehabilitating the women and girls who unwillingly have landed in forced prostitution. Similarly, in professional level, Dr Dee has taken initiatives through dialogues with the high level Government officials of Nepal to assist in the mission of Raksha Nepal. Moreover, she is also the advisor of the Raksha Nepal. We have no words to express for her gracious assistance to us.

Finally, the Raksha Nepal wants to thank the national and international personalities for their help, support and love that they have bestowed towards our organization. The Raksha Nepal also hopes that their support will continue in future which will be fruitful to end all forms of sexual violence in Nepal.
